Independent Living Program
In December of 2019 we were contracted by Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD) through the Ministry of Social Services to provide a Supported Independent Living Program (SILP). Through this program we provide person centered supports that allow each participant to set their own goals and work towards skills that will help them become independent at home and in the community.
HILDA Home
In 2010 HDCS built a group home in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services to serve the needs of 4 individuals who required specialized housing supports. Our home operates 24 hours per day and 7 days per week under a shift model.
This home has been in operation for just over 10 years with the same 4 individuals calling it home since its opening. We have 6 full time, 3 part time, and 4 casual staff members that provide person centered supports to the residents.
If you are interested in completing a residential application to be on our waiting list please contact your Community Services Worker with Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD) and they will make an application on your behalf.

10th Anniversary
HILDA HOME was constructed and opened in 2010.
We celebrated our 10th Anniversary on December 1st, 2020!
